Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World = Love

So I just saw Scott Pilgrim for the second time today.  It's good, very, very good!

Takara Tomy Animated Blackout Review.

Blackout only had a small cameo in the Transwarped episode of the third series, but his form being based on Blackout from the first Transformers movie by Mr. Bay makes a fine toy to be included into the Animated toyline.  It's a good thing the Animated Almanac volume 2 goes into a bit more detail on this guy.

Speed Star Soundwave quick review.

I was at the shops with some friends when I saw this guy and remember being a little excited at it when I first learnt of it.  He doesn't transform, but still for $5 I couldn't resist really.  What's he like?

Tokyo Toy Show exclusive, Elite Guard Prowl from Animated in my hands!

This is a re-colour of Animated Prowl, released at the Tokyo toy show 2010, it is a white version, which is out of continuity from the cartoon as Prowl never gets the chance to become an Elite Guardsman, but it is in theme with his concept art and the G1 colours of Prowl (although they were different colours).  As a result, I was terribly terribly eager to get my grubby mitts on one, no matter the cost and I am pleased to say  have.  Whats he like?

Sonic The Hedgehog Review on the PS3

I love Sonic. I have since the Megadrive and despite his fall from grace recently I always seem to try the games.  Sonic the hedgehog for the PS3 is an attempt to reboot the franchise for the more powerful consoles. Hence the lack of a 'V' or 'VII' etc etc. I remember being very excited about this game, even to the point of me waiting two hours to download a demo video of it on dial-up. Yes I was cheap and stuck with dial up for a while.  Was it worth it?

Subway and their Sandwich 'Artists'

I always laughed at how Subway would advertise for staff and call them 'Sandwich Artists.'  Sure, they can call it whatever they want, I mean, Baristas who make your coffee seem to think they are the bees knees sometimes.  I can make a nice sandwich and think I have a bit of skill with it, not quite the levels of Arthur Dent, but they are pretty good.  Could I work at Subway?
