Queen’ Blade Spiral Chaos review. More that just fan service.
Queen’ Blade Spiral Chaos review.
Following my strange weaknes towards Queen's Blade I managed to procure this PSP game in the 'Gekitou Pack.' Luckily it's more than just fan service.
Lots of pictures and Blurb.
Beware, suggestive talk and pictures ahead if you click that link!

OFTCC Elite Guard Dion & Cop-Turr review.
Dion here is a repaint of the Henkei Hot Rod toy that was an update to the Armada version of Hot Shot. He was called Hot Rod in Japan, even in the days of Armada and Micron Densetsu series of toys. Dion has been made before and is based on some Transformers lore from somewhere. Apparently a friend of Orion Pax (Optimus before he was Optimus), as the E-hobby toy of Orion Pax comes with a Dion figure, which was a repaint of Wheelie.

Generations Exclusive Henkei Ghost Starscream.
This rather nice figure is based on the Classics seekers mould and has now been re-issued under a number of guises. This one particular colouring is really nicely done and was rather hard to get a hold of. It is from the Generations book that was released a couple of years ago and was limited to those who bought the book and sent in the little form for pre-ordering and they would only deliver to addresses in Japan. Starscream (SS) was from Volume 2 of the book. The first volume had Ligier (Mirage). Is it worthwhile having if you have this mould in any of its other forms? Yes.

Great Gaming Moments… Ultima V
Ok, since I have had this little laptop handy, I thought it would be a good idea to get Dosbox up on it, so I can play some classic games. So here i thought I would start with the game that got me into RPGs. The brilliant Ultima 5.
Yay! January Rain!!!
Off to work on the 5th of January and we had some beautiful nice rain! Just what the doctor ordered for blowing away those summer blues, caused by excessive heat.
Yes! That’s right, I even had to use an umbrella!
Christmas has just finished and….
Wow. I took this photo on the 4th of January at the local shops. Christmas had just finished and some of the shops were trying to convince me to buy their ‘bargains’ at their supposed ‘after Christmas sales.’

Device Label Tigertron USB
Kind of by default, Ravage as well. This little doohicky was made by TakaraTomy as part of their Device Label line. It fits in nicely with the MP3 Soundwave, Rumble/Frenzy Headphones and Blaster USB dock. I think that the idea of making Ravage into a USB memory stick is quite cool. Appropriate update on Ravage’s initial form od a cassette. Tigertron on the other hand, well, it looks nice and fits fairly well considering how they have just done a recolour of it, but the spying thing is less an obvious link.

Revoltech Valkyrie VF-J1. Interesting, but flawed.
The two main toylines I seem drawn to appears to be Revoltech and Transformers. So what could be better than the two combined? Keeping them separate, that’s what.

Workplace Philosophy.
When I got to my current place of work, I saw this amusing piece of work on the side wall. At first I thought it was just funny, but now I am beginning to see some truth to it.
New Super Mario Powers?!?!???
Super Mario and Luigi (why doesn’t he ever get called Super Luigi? After all the title is Super Mario Bros. not Super Mario.) always seem to nab new powers in their games. Mario galaxy gave us bee Mario, Galaxy 2, cloud Mario, Mario World, Raccoon/Tanuki Mario and the list goes on. I think I found a new one.
Someone for everyone.
I think this will just prove that there is someone for everybody somewhere, you just have to find them…
Hilarious Quote of the Week.
Ok, it might not exactly be a weekly segment, but I think I will add some stuff as it comes.
This masterful gem, I discovered while reading the Weekend West and comes from the editorial section. It’s an article about the Police Commissioner and the consumption of alcohol. The commissioner was concerned about a theatre (as in plays etc.) applying for a license to sell alcohol.
It was written by Ben Harvey and made me laugh quite heartily when I read it:
“I cannot believe that WA Police wanted the good people of this State to watch a contemporary dance performance sober. That is a cruel and unusual punishment.”
The Weekend West, Pg. 26, 1 January 2011
Well, we all think that at contemporary dance items don’t we?
I really dig that Ben! Good work!
Oh and Happy new year everybody!
Meanwhilst at the Op-Shop….
I was cruising the local op shop since they are always full of interesting bits pieces. I was a little freaked out when I saw this piece of work. WHAAA? What could it beeee?
