Tacos… I just don’t get ‘em… - A Haiku.

Tacos come from Mexico, Haikus come from Japan.  An unlikely combination, until now.


Local taco place

offering a free one Woo!

           So I claim to eat.

Shape looks very good.

Time to free from silver cage.

          Smells blend together.

Yep, That’s a taco!

Colours and fragrance pleasing.

          Excited to eat.

NOM NOM NOM!  YUMMY! 

Sour Cream, cheese and beef good
          combo of flavours.

Taco was designed

as easy shape to eat. Yes?
          Like a souvlaki

Bits fall, makes a mess.

Shell broken, like my poor heart.
          Tacos,  hard to eat

Messy hand. Needs wash

Must use fork to clean the plate
          Taco. What’s the point?
