Occasionally our suburb is blessed with the visitations of the very impressive Black Cockatoo. A native bird to WA and I think it’s an endangered species (as most native animals are). The better half loves them, and I must admit they are an impressive sight. We managed to get some shots.
This is a good shot of a single one in the trees next door. It was quite close and made a bit more interesting in that the tree they chose to inhabit is smaller than their normal one and it was quite weighed down by the weight of the birds.
This lot is the main group that took up the top of the tree.
